This policy explains how the iOS app Mindful Me: Daily Affirmations ("the app", App Store ID 6758354591) handles information. The app's developer ("we", "us") is responsible for the information described here (the data controller). Where a section applies only to certain app versions, it says so; you can see the installed version in iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Mindful Me.
The app has no sign-up and no user accounts. Your affirmations, favourites, preferences and settings are stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. The app shows no ads, and we do not sell your data.
Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device and do not need a server.
We also use OneSignal (OneSignal, Inc., USA) to send optional push notifications, for example about new content, app updates or offers. The app starts the OneSignal software in a mode that requires your consent, and gives that consent only after you allow notifications for the app (in the iOS prompt or later in Settings). If you do not allow notifications, the app does not give this consent.
When the app starts, the OneSignal software requests its configuration from OneSignal's servers. This request does not contain a user ID, but, like any web server, OneSignal can see your IP address.
After you allow notifications, OneSignal receives your device's push token, a OneSignal ID and subscription ID, and basic device and usage information such as device model, iOS, app and SDK version, language, time zone, network type, your IP address, app session counts and times, and whether notifications were delivered and opened. OneSignal may derive an approximate location (such as your country) from your IP address; the app does not ask for or share your device's location. The OneSignal software also contains optional in-app purchase tracking; if it is active, OneSignal may receive the product, price and currency of purchases made in the app, but never your payment details.
We use this data to send notifications and to see how they perform (legal basis: your consent). Because OneSignal, Inc. is based in the USA, this data may be processed in the USA. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Mindful Me. To have the data OneSignal holds for your device deleted, contact us (section 10).

The current version of the app (1.0.6) does not include any analytics or crash-reporting software. Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics have been removed.
Versions before 1.0.6 (1.0.5 and earlier) used Firebase Analytics, to understand in aggregate how the app is used, and Firebase Crashlytics, to receive crash reports (such as device model, iOS and app version and technical details of a crash). They started automatically when the app was used. Updating the app to the current version stops this.

The app does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not access your device's advertising identifier.
If you choose to save or share an affirmation image, the app asks for permission to add it to your photo library or to share it (for example to Instagram Stories, WhatsApp, Messages or via the iOS share sheet). Images are created on your device and are not sent to us.
All fonts are included in the app. The app does not download fonts from the internet.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment card or other payment details.
The app may show Apple's standard rating prompt. Links such as "More apps to try", the Terms of Use and this policy open in the App Store or in Safari.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time (turn off notifications in iOS Settings). Because the app has no accounts, the simplest way to remove app data from your device is to delete the app. For any request, including deleting data held by OneSignal for your device, contact us and we will help. In the EEA you can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Sweden: IMY, imy.se).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We will update this page if the app's data practices change, and change the date above. Contact: appsinsights@gmail.com.
